Hi everyone, as you may have noticed I have not been keeping up with the blog lately for a few reasons. 1) If I don’t feel like playing WoW for whatever reason then I can’t bring myself to work on the blog. 2) I have been out job searching since I was laid off recently. I know this is completely off topic and has nothing to do with my blog, however for the few people who do view it I want you and anyone else who visit to know that I do plan on working the blog still, just not right now.
My game card has expired as of today so I can’t experiment or make any videos anyways. Once I can get my game time activated again then I will post more videos, more tips, etc...
I do not know when that will be, but hopefully soon.
Until then happy gaming everyone

The Good of World of Warcraft Gold Farming
If your professions are not cutting it for you, or you just need more gold then gold farm. Lots of people do it all the time to acquire in game items and gold. With a little research you can also put some techniques together to get gold faster in game. Its no joke, anyone can make gold, you just need to know how. There are many ways to learn how and many guides you can consult as well for extra knowledge. I am going to share the basics here and important tips to keep you on top of your game.
Oh and just for relevance I hope I have not confused you with the term gold farming, I am not talking about people who farm to get gold and later sell that gold for real world money. The term gold farming doesn’t mean just that. Gold farming involves time and effort on your part. Let’s say your out killing a mob because there is the chance a recipe could drop that sells for 200 gold in the auction house. Doing this action, repeatedly is farming. Your farming the mob for an important item, that people will buy. Let’s say you’re a miner riding your mount around Western Plaugelands to try and collect some Thorium, technically this is farming to. Usually when people want certain ore they will stay in a good area and wait for spawns or kill mobs until the ore comes back again. Mining can be pretty greedy though so be careful, there are times where you will be competing with your enemy faction or even a member from your own faction in the warcraft community.
Some people do not farm or even have professions what so ever, but they want to get ahead in game, this is where you can come in. By picking up a profitable profession, or farming well known areas where popular items drop of value can rake in the gold fast. As long as its selling and there is buyers then your all set. There are times that farming will become stressful, annoying and even make you quit and go back to something else, lets face it some people hate farming so they do not do it. Other people gold farm all the time to gather gold for whatever reason (we all have our reasons right). And some people just find gold farming boring, so they stay away. I think I said enough about gold farming though, I am sure you may be wondering what to do next, where to start and what is the most profitable items to farm.
Now if you are on your first character ever than I suggest leveling up a bit. It is your first toon after all. When you start out you have no in game currency anyways. Starting off by doing the area quest will help. These quest will give you copper/silver starting out and items, sometimes both. Also most quest involve you to kill certain mobs. After you kill a mob be sure to loot it and grab everything it dropped. Even if its garbage then vendor trash it for more copper or silver. The higher level you get the more you will get as far as currency goes, same as the mobs they will drop more.
I think Gold Farming is good for all levels. Eventually everyone probably does it at least once. There is no shame in doing it either. I don’t see what the problem is in farming up a item that sells like crazy. Think about it from this point of view, if people were not gold farming the auction house be nearly dead, yes nearly dead... Most of the items for sale were gold farmed I’m sure.
So gold farming is good because it helps you make some gold and helps keep the WoW economy going.

Make Some Quick Gold During The Feast of Winter Veil
The Feast Of Winter Veil has arrived. So this is a great time to try and make some extra gold/silver. There is a quest to get Grandfather Winter 5 gingerbread cookies and cold milk. In order to get those cookies you either need to make them, which is quite easy since the cooking skill for the cookies and egg nog is set to 1. Or you can simply buy them off the AH, though be warned the eggs and cookies are, well overpriced in my opinion...
Now you may be wondering... Where do small eggs drop? There is a few places, if you are not sure where you might like to go, check out: http://thottbot.com/ When you go to the site just type "Small Egg" into the search engine. 2 items will appear, click on the one that says "Small Egg" With doing this easy task you will be able to see the recipes it goes in, user comments and all the beast that drop the eggs. Each beast has a drop percent and location listed. With that being said though out of the list at Thotbot I have only farmed small eggs from Westfall on a level 70, it didn't take long at all and I got 63 eggs. Aside from that my character is a miner, the birds are not always together anyway so you need to do some traveling to find some of them, which means along the way I was able to mine. This would be great for a herbalist as well, since herbs can be found the same way mines are.

Here is a picture in Westfall of some Fleshrippers located in Moonbrook!
It won't make you rich but you should be able to grind up some gold by collecting gathering materials (If you have one of those professions) If not then you can at least make money from the eggs if you decide to sell them.
How much gold you make is up to you and the market pretty much. Not everyone is going to be interested in buying the eggs or cookies. People who have played for a decent amount of time probably are out farming the eggs and selling them. I always sell under the price of the previous auction, not to low or high. But not insane either... Plus where it is Christmas time in game this will be the most popular time for these items to sell like crazy. I think it is still good to do some research though in your local AH. Go in search “Small Egg” and “Gingerbread Cookie” just to make sure they are being sold and for a decent price. In my opinion it is a waste of time farming if neither item is selling decently... It is good to be careful with your pricing too though, I noticed almost daily that the prices are changing quite a bit on both items.
To be save I only sold 2 sets of 5 eggs together and 4 sets of 5 gingerbread cookies together. I wanted to make sure it sold. I probably did underprice my eggs a bit to much but the cookies seemed to be in a good place, price wise.

Here is a picture showing my auctions.
So in total I made 16 gold. Keep in mind I had more eggs. To save up farming time I acctually sent the eggs to my other characters for they could make cookies for the quest. 16 gold is not that bad though, esspecially for a low level. Combine that with other farming techniques like cloth, ore, leather or herbs then you should be able to walk out with a decent amount. Again though it really depends on your servers AH prices, how many people are farming and if the item is in demand or not for the most part. Oh and of course your level. Lower level ussually takes longer (since you would be making smaller pulls) don’t let that get you down though. If you are appropriate level then you can still get some xp from the kills!
Anyhow hopefully this helps you all get some more gold.

Warcraft Wealth Update
I really do feel bad you know. I keep saying I am going to put up a review on this and I have not yet. I will tell you that I started writing it though and want to make a very informative page. This will probably not be posted until the weekend though. So aside from work, playing WoW and other life stuff that has to get done I am going to try very hard to make some time this weekend to get that done and out of the way.
Why am I bothering to let my readers know this? Because I said I am going to do that and plan on keeping to my word. Life has just been hectic esspecially with the new job so I have been slowing down a lot on my many projects.
Anyhow I must head out to work now. Good night! And stay tuned for my personal and true review on Warcraft Wealth.

WOTLK Is Here!
After all the waiting and gold farming it is here! I have not spent really any gold since I installed the new expansion though. Acctually the first thing I did was go to an instance. The instance is: Utgarde Keep. It was good times. Had a climpse of the new cloth as well it is called Frostweave Cloth. Some dropped in the instance I only got 4 though. Honestly I did not have much time to play because I have to go to work soon and such.
Now here is something very important that tailors can learn! So def get it. Its called "Northern Cloth Scavenging" This ability sometimes lets you find additional cloth from Northrend humanoids. I was checking out prices of some of the new stuff on the AH as well. Frostweave cloth is selling for 55 gold for 1 stack on my server! BHAM that is expensive but expected in a way... Farming is probably the best way to go.
Hmm I do not have much to say about WOTLK because I have only done a few quest and 1 instance and still level 70. When I sit down and start playing more though I will try and find some good farming spots and share them here.
Until then though, happy questing and gold making ^_^
